There’s no point in burying the lede. The United States has one of the worst (if not the worst) healthcare systems out there. We pay the most and get the least in our health outcomes. Study after study has confirmed that compared to health systems around the world, we come in last. There, I’ve said it.

Alcohol is deadly. There’s no other way to put it. In the short term, alcohol has been shown to negatively impact sleep, it can destroy personal relationships, it can decimate your savings account and it can cause major weight fluctuations. The long-term effects are much more grim.

If asked, probably most of us can recall our first crush, which perhaps is associated with a cringe-worthy, pink-faced embarrassing moment or three… (If only that was the last time one of those happened!) And we can also likely agree matters of the heart rarely made sense.
